The Dog Leg including Beef and Beats

Book The Dog Leg for your Beef and Beats event night campsite.

Dog Leg is a perfect site for both two and four legged friends. With an easy access to the coolness and shade of the creek, this site is the perfect getaway.

This is a large site is suited to swags, tents and camper trailers or high clearance caravans and is more of an off road camping site. It is a larger site that would suit setting up for a few days of rest and relaxation. It is still a short drive out to a gravel road, so is convenient if you need to duck into town or go day tripping.

Please note that we are inviting you to stay on our farm and as such our sites are pristine and we would like to keep them like that for others to enjoy. As such, we do not have amenities on our property and kindly request that all waste is removed. If you are looking for 4wding or to be driving around a property, please check out Swan Gully 4wd park. This site is accessed through Upper Allan Creek Rd and only designated, booked sites are to be utilized.

What guests say about The Dog Leg

Dog Leg is a big, flat, grassy site set right beside a shady, shallow stretch of creek. Guests describe it as secluded, sheltered and very private, with room for one family or a group of up to eight vans. As the name suggests, dogs love it: they roam off-leash and cool off in the running water, while kids watch the cows play in the creek. Guests single out the firewood delivery, which arrives dry, burns hot and is called 'a great deal'. The hosts are described as hospitable, including helping a caravan out safely after heavy rain. Many call it their new favourite camping spot and plan to come back to try the other sites.
