What guests say about Squatter's Rocks
Squatters Rocks sits on an elevated sandstone ridge with close to 300-degree views of the mountains. Guests describe sunsets and sunrises (often with hot air balloons) as the stars of the stay. The site is spacious, clean and ready to go, and several reviewers say there wasn't another campsite in sight. It suits solo campers, couples, families and groups with several vehicles, and dogs love having room to roam. Guests say it is easy to reach, with clear directions, and 'close to Brisbane but doesn't feel like it'. One solo camper gave it '10/10, no complaints for the price'. Worth knowing: The pad has a slight slope, but there is enough level ground at the bottom to set up.
